"Still Learning the Word"

My Journey of Faith and Education

This is my journey of continuous growth in loving the Word. For many years, I have had the privilege of focusing on the ministry of the Word. It all started after I finished my School of Biblical Studies in 2012, an academic program offered by the University of the Nations. After completing that program, I knew my calling was to teach the Bible in any context—whether it be preaching on Sundays, leading small groups, or in classroom settings.

A Miraculous Admission

After years of involvement in Bible Schools, I find myself back as a student again. It is a remarkable privilege for me to be enrolled in the Master's Degree program at Tyndale Theological Seminary in Amsterdam, especially since I did not complete a Bachelor's degree. I was admitted because of my extensive ministry experience, which I see as a special favor from God.

Transformative Love for Learning

This opportunity is a miracle to me. Growing up, I did not develop a love for studying; it only blossomed when I began to follow Jesus. My hunger to know Him through His Word transformed into a consistent habit of learning and teaching. This change has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Embracing the Classroom Experience

I have always loved being in a Bible School classroom, where I get to hear questions I would never have thought to ask. Each interaction continues to fuel my learning. Now, I face the challenge of discipline, meeting deadlines for papers, and maintaining a focused study routine.

A Long-Awaited Dream

I am excited to finally begin this journey, as pursuing a degree has been a long-held dream of mine. Life often gets in the way, and I never found the right time to pursue this goal. However, my family is currently in a season of good rhythm, with the kids attending school on the same schedule, which allows me the space to chase this dream.

Divine Guidance in Transition

I vividly remember a pivotal moment before we left for the Netherlands while still in the Philippines. During a season of transition, the Lord spoke clearly to my wife and me, urging us to move to the Netherlands to build our credentials. That was seven years ago, and I see now how His timing is always perfect. I believe I am in the right place, and I am excited to see what lies ahead after finishing my education. The Lord is faithful to His Word and His calling for me.
